Privacy Policy

Picture Widget does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Your photos never leave your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

Your photos

You choose photos through Android's system photo picker, which gives the app access to only the images you select. The app never requests permission to browse your photo library.

Every step — removing the background, creating the torn-paper edge, rendering the collage — happens entirely on your device. Selected photos are processed and the resulting cutouts are saved to the app's own private storage, readable only by Picture Widget. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

No internet access

The app does not request the INTERNET permission. It is technically incapable of sending your data anywhere.

One clarification in the interest of being precise: the background-removal model is supplied by Google Play services, a separate system component, which may download the model to your device once. That download is performed by Google Play services, not by this app, and involves only the model itself — your photos are never sent as part of it. Google Play services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

What is stored on your device

• Your cutouts and any background image you pick, in the app's private storage.
• Your collage layouts (positions, sizes, rotations), in a local database.
• Your appearance preferences (theme and accent colour).

None of this is readable by other apps. Uninstalling Picture Widget removes all of it permanently.

If you send feedback

The Feedback option in Settings opens your own email app with a message prepared for you. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do, we receive what any email includes — your email address and whatever you write — plus the app version, device model and Android version we add to help diagnose the problem. That information is used only to answer you and fix bugs. It is never sold or shared, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Children

Picture Widget is not directed at children, and since it collects no data, it collects none from children either.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Any change that affected how data is handled would also ship in an app update.
